Needs Assessment Committee
Since being established by the Select Board we have logged approximately one hundred personnel hours studying the facility needs at the Police, Fire and Recreation Departments. We have toured the Police and Fire stations and reviewed their present and future needs. We are at the point where we believe that it does not make sense financially to rehabilitate either facility. We further believe that neither property will accommodate our required needs. The previous Needs Assessment Committee came to the same conclusion. We are seeking a site where we will be able to locate a complex for our Public Safety and perhaps Recreation Departments.
