Help Make Plymouth Beautiful and Welcoming
We hope you have been pleased with the work that the Plymouth Beautification Committee (PBC) has done in the last two summers. We started the restoration of the roundabout, added a bench next to Samaha’s store, installed flower boxes to the gazebo, and are keeping the downtown gardens in well-tended condition.
This summer, we will be replacing the welcome signs with the help of a Girl Scout, Ella Duchette, who is fundraising for new signs on both South Main Street and North Main Street. PBC is donating to the cost of the two signs and then will be creating new, easily sustainable landscaping around the signs.
Could you pitch in to help?
Last year we had 32 donors who, through their generosity, paid for the Roundabout plantings and restoration of the surrounding gardens. We also want to thank two in-kind donors: Clee Manson of “Down to Earth”, who installed the foundation under the new bench, and Paul Turley who installed the flower boxes on the gazebo, both free as a gift to the town.
